  • Health information you share during a consultation or upload as reports, prescriptions, or documents.
  • Payment details processed through our payment gateway partner Cashfree. We do not store your card or UPI credentials on our servers.
  • Technical metadata such as device type, IP address, and basic usage logs required to operate the service securely.

2. How we use your information

  • To connect you with verified doctors and facilitate consultations.
  • To maintain your medical records, prescriptions and appointment history inside your account.
  • To process payments, refunds and wallet transactions.
  • To send transactional notifications (e.g. booking confirmations, prescription updates).
  • To improve reliability, detect fraud, and meet legal or regulatory requirements.

3. Sharing your information

  • With the doctor treating you, strictly for the purpose of the consultation and follow-up care.
  • With our payment partner Cashfree when you make a payment. They process data under their own policies and applicable law.
  • With our hosting and infrastructure partners (Supabase) under appropriate safeguards.
  • When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.
  • We do not sell your personal or medical information to third parties.

4. Data retention

  • Consultation records and prescriptions are retained as required by applicable medical record-keeping laws in India.
  • Account details are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting support.
  • Payment transaction records are retained for the period required by tax and financial regulations.

5. Your rights

  • You can view and update your profile at any time from your dashboard.
  • You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by writing to support@telemedicines.in.
  • You can withdraw consent to non-essential processing without affecting your ability to use the core consultation service.

6. Security

  • All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS.
  • Consultation video and audio are routed through encrypted channels.
  • Access to your records is restricted to you and the doctor you consulted.

7. Children

  • Telemedicines.in is intended for adults and guardians booking on behalf of dependents. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
