These Terms of Service govern your use of Telemedicines.in. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of these terms
- By creating an account or booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
- If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. The service
- Telemedicines.in connects patients with verified, independent doctors for online consultations.
- Consultations are delivered via secure video, audio or chat. Prescriptions, where appropriate, are issued digitally.
- Telemedicines.in is not a substitute for emergency care. In emergencies please dial 112 or visit the nearest hospital.
3. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account. Adults may book consultations for dependents in their care.
- The platform is intended for users in India. Availability of specific doctors and services may vary by location.
4. Bookings, payments and wallets
- Consultation fees are set by each doctor and displayed before you pay.
- Payments are processed through Cashfree Payments. You authorise Telemedicines.in and Cashfree to process the payment you initiate.
- You can fund your wallet to use pay-per-minute sessions. Wallet balances are non-transferable.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel an appointment within 24 hours of creating it. Eligible refunds for cancelled paid appointments are credited to your wallet.
- You may reschedule an appointment once. Subsequent changes must be handled by cancelling and re-booking.
- If a doctor cancels or is unable to attend, your payment is fully refunded to your wallet.
6. Prescriptions and medical advice
- Prescriptions are issued at the treating doctor's sole clinical discretion, based on the information you share during the consultation.
- Advice given online is based on the symptoms and history you describe. Always share accurate information.
- Follow medication instructions carefully. If symptoms worsen, seek in-person care.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not misrepresent your identity or share your account with others.
- Do not record or redistribute consultations without consent.
- Abusive or harmful behaviour towards our doctors or team may result in suspension or termination.
8. Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Telemedicines.in is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
- Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email or an in-product banner.
- Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
